about
Recorded in 1999, “Happy for X-mas” was first issued on cassette tape (an extremely short run at that !!) and given away to friends & family for the holidays that year. It saw a proper release on compact disc a year later when it made its way way onto the Wes Hollywood Show CD “Grade a Grey Day.”
There are 2 piano tracks on this recording, I’m playing the piano in the left channel… and if you listen closely you’ll be able to hear my good pal & fellow musician Lou Halwas (who dropped in for the session) banging away on the right.
The one thing that bothered me about this recording was the decision to keep the long guitar intro and general mucking about at the beginning…. so, without further adieu, I give you the “Happy for X-mas” radio edit!
enjoy!
